Reactions

Like I said before everybody has been extremely supportive, if not extremely surprised.  Somebody posted this today, and it echoes everything I'm hearing.

Guess what, I got a job!

It's been really interesting to see people's reactions.  Ranging from "let me pick my jaw up off the desk" to mild profanity, everyone has been very supportive, after the initial shock.  I found out about it in November, and I wasn't sure about my family would react.  But Sonia Speaks said I could go, so that was settled :) I applied in February, and interviewed April 8.  A week later, they offered me the job.  I don't have many details yet, just that I have an orientation in July, and I leave sometime in August.
